A Note to Parents
Hello parents of MyLife SM Students. We designed this portion of the website just for you. We want you to know that as a Youth Staff, we are here to serve you as well as your students. I hope that you will take advantage of some of the resources that we have provided you on this site. Our goal is to walk along beside you and to join in with you as you seek to make your students Christ-like disciples. So browse, surf, or peruse around and hopefully the information that we have provided you will be of aid to you.

CPYU - The center for parent / youth understanding. - Yeah, that’s right. You can get some awesome stuff here. Learn what your child faces on a daily basis and how you can help them to make the right choices.
Plugged in Magazine - This place keeps JO hip on pop culture. He gets a lot of updates concerning movies and music from this magazine.
Al Menconi - Here you can get some great reviews on reviews on popular media ranging from movies and music to today’s hottest video games. See what these guys have to say.
Lyrics.com - A popular search engine where you can search their complete database of song lyrics to find out what your teen is really listening to. Warning — lyrics are explicit, they don’t filter anything but neither does your students MP3 player!
Screen It - Get the skinny on the newest movies and videos. You can read a detailed description of the flick before you watch so you can make an educated decision. And best of all it’s free! (scroll down to bottom of page click ‘no thanks’ to enter the free site)
Code Blue Youth Talks - This is the organization that brings you the music and media talks. This site is jammed packed full of resources about music, movies, TV series’, and video games that teens today enjoy.
First String - Another organization that brings you an incredible event where a registered nurse speaks to adults about STD’s. This is not for the timid. If you really want to know what teens face each time they jump in bed with someone they you must experience one of their events!
